PORTFOLIO

My practice centers on the concept of touch—its presence, absence, and emotional resonance. Through video, scanning, illustration, and installation, I explore the nuanced distance between desire and contact, body and image, memory and sensation. Across different media, I trace the invisible marks left by longing: a hand reaching toward a projection, a scan that blurs the boundary between skin and screen, or a childlike figure receiving a hug without reason.

Touch in my work is never just physical—it becomes metaphor, memory, and mirror. From the solitude of a darkroom to the imagined freedom of a park, from the intimate distortions of scanning to the suspended fragments of an unseen presence, each piece forms part of a larger conversation about human connection. My work does not ask to be touched; it invites the viewer to feel the ache of almost-touching.

By creating varying distances of touch, I aim to awaken a sensory empathy in the audience—a subtle but powerful emotional echo that lingers beyond the visible.
